Mieszkanie - Housing

Pierwsze kilka tygodni mieszkałem w Mountain View, w ośrodku NASA AMES (!). Całkiem ciekawe miejsce - jakieś wielkie hangary, tunel aerodynamiczny, ochrona przy wejściu itp. Dzieliłem pokój z Robinem, i nawet obyło się bez konfliktów. Jednak zasadniczo nie podobało mi się tam za bardzo, więc usilnie szukaliśmy czegoś ciekawszego. Niestety, strasznie ciężko jest znaleźć coś w MV na 3 miesiące, więc ostatecznie zdecydowaliśmy się na przeprowadzkę do San Jose. Teraz mieszkamy na kampusie San Jose State University. Jest dosyć dziwnie, bo wszystko jest strasznie nowe. Na przykład w naszym apartamencie nikt nigdy nie mieszkał. Ale mamy własne pokoje, każdy ma 2 łóżka, internet w pokoju (troszkę wolny), nie jest źle. I naokoło pełno strasznie młodych studentów :). Jedyny problem jaki mam to dojazdy. Chociaż są 3 busy do Googla i z powrotem, czuję się trochę ograniczony, bo muszę wyjść z pracy przed 8 wieczorem :)

For the first couple of weeks I lived in Mountain VIew, in the NASA AMES research center (!). Pretty interesting place - some huge hangars, aerodynamic tunnel, tight security at the entrance. I shared a room with Robin, and we even managed without any conflicts. But I didn't like the place too much, so we were looking for something more interesting. Unfortunatelly, it is very hard to find something in MV for 3 month, so we eventually decided to move to San Jose. Now we're leaving at the San Jose State University campus. It's a bit weird, since everything is very new. For example, no one has ever lived in our apartment before. But we have our own rooms, two beds in each room, internet (a bit slow), it's not bad. And lots of very young students around :). The only problem I have is commuting. While there are 3 shuttles to Google and back, I feel a bit limited, as I need to leave work before 8pm :)
